Good fishing can be had on the Blue while the weather holds
Current Conditions
Although flows are relatively low on the Blue below Dillon Reservoir, fishing has remained productive and well worth the journey. Fishing in town will produce the best results, as the water temperatures will be higher and the fish more active. Fishing downstream of Dillon is still a posibility, although fishing will only be productive during the middle to late part of the day when the water warms up a bit. Nymphing will be the go to method, although there will be periods where fish will be looking up towards the surface. If the bigger fish are your target, fish to them with lighter tippets, small flies, and stealthy approaches.

14 Day Forecast
Since this section of river is a tailwater, expect fishing to remain productive throughout the winter. Watch the weather though, as winter fronts will start rolling through the high country this month, making fishing a bit more sporatic.
