Overview
Great Fall fishing on South Boulder Creek
Current Conditions
South Boulder Creek is a true gem, offering metro area anglers a great close to town option. Fishing was great near the Pinecliffe area, with fish feeding hard on a majority of sub-surface patters. Fish the slower water in the morning, but as the air temps begin to rise, look for fish to move into the faster moving currents. Eggs patterns were deadly in the early morning and late afternoon, but during the heat of the day the trout were definitely keying in on smaller BWO and midge patterns. Throwing streamers also got some exciting chases by some aggressive brown trout.
