Overview

The dream stream fished well this weekend. Many fall spawning rainbows are coming up from Eleven Mile Reservoir and are feeding aggressively on egg patterns and midges. I would tend to suggest fishing a typical tail water nymph rig with an egg or other tail water attractor as your point fly then drop a midge larvae or baetis nymph below. All anglers should be diligent to protect the natural resources that we all cherish by staying off the redds and wading carefully!

Current Conditions

Warm but very windy. Typical south park!

Hatches

Eggs, Midge, BWO

Recommended Flies

14 Day Forecast

Fishing on the dream stream should continue to produce bountiful results through the month of October. As there are still some smaller pods of Kokanee; look for large browns, rainbows, and cutthroats on the tail outs of the pods. Once again: STAY OFF THE REDDS!
