A good evening float!!!
Current Conditions
Floated the lake after work between rain storms but pretty much had the water to myself. Focused on the west side of the lake and worked the edges with various patterns. Majority of the hookups were on suspended chironomids and scuds about 12" below the surface. I even striped some buggers through some shallows with some serious strikes but nothing in the net. Avoid this place on the weekend - floating can be down right dangerous with paddle boats and lures everywhere. The lake is well stocked and fishing these off-hours can be enjoyable and productive.
