Overview

Fishing was solid through town. I started below I-70 fishing my way through the gauging station for the first 1/4 of the day. As the day went on I made my way back down well past Cutthroat Anglers where the fishing continued to remain exceptional. Lower flows and gin clear water made sight fishing my prime strategic approach. I would strongly recommend using a multiple fly nymph rig with fluorocarbon tippet material. I did find that the fish would move a considerable distance away from their holding lanes in order to feed.
