For the past 15 years or so, I have been using Orvis waders. This past fall, I got tired of leaky waders and decided to spend a little more on the Simms G3 Wader. I have had plenty of experience with Gore-Tex in the past with jackets and have never been let down. It is no different with the immersion type laminate. The Simms is by far the driest wader I have worn and is quite comfortable to boot. I have gotten out on the river a lot and I still have no complaints. So far so good. They are standing up to what I was hoping they would.
